Subject: Termination of 1965 and 1966 Hydra-Matic Transmission Shift Modification Program.
Short answer: The Hydra-Matic transmission shift modification program described in News Flashes 66-44 and 66-44A ended on December 31, 1967. Manual shaft replacements on these models after that date will only be accepted when the WRO is accompanied by a signed 727 form.
The modification program outlined in News Flashes 66-44 and 66-44A has been terminated as of December 31, 1967.
Replacement of the manual shaft on 1965–1966 models after this date will be accepted only when the WRO is accompanied by a signed 727 form.
