Heater Hose Replacement with A/C

Short answer: On an A/C car the heater-hose connections are reached from under the car: loosen a couple of inner-fender (skirt) bolts and wedge a piece of 2×4 in to spread it so you can reach up to the connections. Slitting the old hose with a razor knife makes it come off much easier.

Be careful not to break loose the tube that goes to the heater core — if you do, you’ll have to pull the fender to replace the core.
