Pontiac Engine Paint in Brush Form
Short answer: For brush-on Pontiac engine paint, try POR-15 (Restomotive Laboratories) engine paint or Bill Hirsch — both reputable. POR-15 has a higher gloss but goes on thick: it shows brush marks on flat surfaces (oil pan, valve covers, valley pan) though not on rough ones (block, heads).
Clean off all dirt and grease and scuff the surface first, or the paint won’t flow and adhere. Note brush marks get more noticeable with age as the paint out-gasses and shrinks, and it can still burn off the exhaust ports during cam break-in (worse if running lean).
