Assist Handle, Hood Light and Compass Location, and Head Rests Questions for 1968

Short answer: The assist handle over the glovebox came on Custom Interior Firebirds (those cars also got the instrument-panel emblem on the glovebox door). Headrests were an option on the 1968 (code 572).
