Distributor Vacuum Advance Valve Assy

Short answer: The Distributor Vacuum Advance Valve Assembly (#9773623) was used on all 1968/69 Pontiacs with manual transmission and on 1967 manual-trans A.I.R. engines. It mounts on the right-rear of the intake manifold, and its plastic end cover is black (green, #9794257, on RA II engines). Don’t confuse it with the distributor vacuum control that attaches to the distributor itself.
