Short answer: Instead of replacing parts by guess, diagnose it the moment it dies — check for spark and fuel while it’s dead. If it’s fuel: suspect vapor lock in the steel line, a weak fuel pump, or a tank that isn’t venting (a vacuum forms in the tank and starves the pump). If it’s ignition: look for a loose wire or an intermittent component in the ignition circuit.
