Seat Belt Replacement in a 1968
Short answer: 1968 and 1969 belts are the same except the date stamp on the white manufacture label at the belt end (only matters for 100% originality). Note 1969 coupes used shoulder belts with extra buckles on the tunnel side.
To find the anchor points after a floor-pan replacement: look under the car at the driveshaft tunnel for the seat-belt nut (welded to a large oval plate) and push a small nail (not a drill — a drill can snag and unravel the carpet) up through the carpet to mark it; the door-jamb anchor is under the sill plate with the carpet rolled back. Note: sometime in 1968 the buckles switched from plastic to metal (once thought to be standard vs. Custom trim).
