Turn Signal Too Fast

Short answer: Fast flashing usually means a heavy-duty flasher is installed (HD flashers are for extra bulbs, e.g., towing) — swap in a regular-duty flasher (e.g., NAPA #552).

Note there are two flashers: the one on the fuse box (near the left kick panel) is the emergency/hazard flasher; the turn-signal flasher is up under the dash between the heater controls and the ignition switch (held in a spring clip, just over the lip of the lower dash).
