Vacume Hose Diagram for 1968
Short answer: For a 1968 with the dual vacuum-advance setup, there’s a thermostatic control switch on the passenger side of the intake with five ports:
- DA — distributor advance
- DR — distributor retard
- CA — carb advance (likely the ported vacuum source)
- CR — carb retard
- Manifold vacuum (from the bottom rear of the carb)
On automatics, the vacuum modulator also connects to manifold vacuum. AMES sells the control switch (~$35) and color-correct vacuum hose kits (~$54) with a diagram.
