The courtesy lights in our 68 coupe stay on all the time. After we checked the dome light wiring and pulled then reinstalled the kick panel bulbs the lights turned off as they should when the door was closed. We checked the headlight switch and it turned them on/off properly too. We then opened/closed both doors several times and they worked correctly. I started the car a while ago and closed the door and the lights wouldn't go out again. Any ideas on where a hot wire may be grounding out? Should we replace the driver's door jamb switch? It seems hard to push and that was the door that I opened when the lights stayed on again.
