did firebirds come with 12 bolt rear ends?

did firebirds come with 12 bolt rearends because i have a 12 bolt under my 68. if firebirds were not equipped with 12 bolts, where could this rearend have come from? are camaro and chevelle rearends interchangeable with the 68 firebirds? thanks for the info.
