OK BK50 I found the story and I hope it helps. The article is in High Performance Pontiac April 1996. The story says there was as few as 13 made and the one in the story is the only one known to still exist at that time. It is owned by a racer named Jess Tyree. In the paint code area on the firewall tag there are three dashes and no numbers. The story goes on to tell about his effort to repaint it and searching for the proper paint. A person at Pontiac was able to furnish him with a paint code of "1". It is the Carousel Red. The cars were used as promotional cars.
