I put all my Secret Audio equipment in the trunk. I had to put the CD changer there anyway so why not get it all in one place? Easy to get to if you want to add things in like an Ipod connection.
I thought about that too but the front mount antenna was a consideration in the placement. I wanted to plug and play with the existing original antenna and cable, without additional db loss.
Yah. That does make a difference. I have the trunk mounted attenna. Although I never listen to the radio anymore due to the bad reception and sound quality compared to the CD's. When I finally get the Ipod hook up I probably will not listen to very many CD's. It's one of those things. When something 'new' comes out with better sound quality the 'old' gets forgotten.
