I have a 68/400 bird with auto. It came with dual fuel lines, supply and return, but no fume vent. All the fuel level senders that fit the tank I see for sale are single line units. I really don't want to put the car back together with the original sender because I've had bad luck on senders failing once they have more than 100K miles wear and tear.
Has anyone taken a single line sender and drilled another hole and brazed in another tube? I assume there isn't any other difference in the resistor element.
