i think globalwest makes SFC's for the vert. they are tubular, and hang down a bit from the floor pan.

i believe they are s'posed to be welded to the rear, but have heard of people bolting them in. perhaps they just drilled holes and put bolts in, or maybe had to make little brackets first to do that.

you can rent a mig welder. migs are pretty easy if you practice a little on scrap metal. or you can get it all ready, and take it to your local muffler shop and see if they will weld in the rear section. i used to weld all kinds of stuff for people when i worked at a muff. shop. we didn't charge much for welds like they do at a welding shop, of course, we didn't grind down the welds afterwards either to make them look pretty.
