hello everybody am new here and am basically new to building/rebuilding cars. i am 18 and live in wisconsin. i got 68 firebird for my birthday planning on restoring/custom rebuilding it. i am not building it to factory specs just rebuilding it the way i want it set up. heres the problem. the driver side rear frame rail is shot/rotted out. is there any way to fix the problem and how much would it cost? i called around and shops said they wouldnt replace it. i know i can buy a new rail out of a book but no 1 will replace it. would it be easier to buy a beater just for the rear of the car and switch parts over or try and find some1 to replace it. any help will be great for a young minded person like me. thanks.
