Ah well, apart from having a laugh, these guys may have a somewhat "unusual" taste in my personal opinion, it is only fair to say that they do put a lot of time, money and effort in the restauration of a first generation Firebird. We may not like it, in the end the owner, like all of us, loves the line and appaerance of the Firebird, and where we like it as it is, he is experimenting with exaggerating the design. Where all the muscle car re-releases (like the Chargers and all) have that same look as the orirginal, I myself am not a big fan of modern Firebirds, where nothing of the early generation is recognised in. At least they are trying to maintain the design of the old Bird in a "modern looking" car... If that would be attempted by Pontiac in a somewhat more acceptable way, that wouldn't be bad...
Just as a defence for these guys who are clearly putting a lot of effort in this project...
