ok guys, thanks for your help. i will recheck the grounds. any idea where i could be missing one, i have a jumper from batt to core support, one from engine to firewall, dont know if there are any more. i'll run a long temporary one from the gauge grnd strap to the batt. if you think that will help. thanks again, mark
