I bought the matching sending unit and verified it was grounded. Gauge still does not work correctly. I got another gauge and it does the same thing. I tried to bypass the sending unit and the gauge still does not work correctly. It just goes past 260 and stays all the time. It does not seem to work on the same principles as the fuel level or the oil pressure.
