I had the TH400 cross member and it worked fine as the bolt hole locations are concerned. I came accross it at a swap meet, IF you have the time.
In '76 when I took the ST300 (two speed) out and put the TH400 in, we made a cross member and it worked quite well. It was much later that I came across the proper 'member.
