i cant really help you except to say that the guy who told you the trans fluid thing is just blowing smoke, so to speak.
it is something that happens, but only if the vacuum modulator on the transmission is bad. if it was, the vehicle would not shift up correctly, if at all. you would definitely recognize it as a transmission problem. but you can always check the vacuum line for signs of fluid.
