Factory traction bars only came on 67's to control wheel hop. 68's got multi-leaf springs and staggered shocks instead of traction bars. In 67 Pontiac was stuck with chevy designed suspension so added traction bars. There's a table in the 67 service manual that tells what car got 2, 1, or no bars. My 326 2bbl 4 speed had 2. A 326 with auto would get 1.
