Start w checking ,and repairing if necessary, the brakes,front end parts ( on mine we found a welded spindel!), check frame and springs , all the hard to get to things...in case you want a running restoration, then get to the motor and trunk,then exterior body w body work & paint, then the interior...if a convert. do top last... just my .02
