Rubber hammer myass. More like a baby sledge, striking it like one of the carnival gizmoes to win a cigar.
And in the future or for other with similar r&r r&i plans, for tranny replacment without a lift, it is much easier to simply pull the engine and tranny as a unit.
My big rubber hammer is just like baby sledge. If you would like a picture of it Mervyn so you can get yourself one I'll be happy to post it. Most of us aren't too keen on bashing our metal parts with a sledge so we have to look at the big dents and ruined paint.....
