I have a leak in one of my lift cylinders and have bled lines and taken out the culprit out. So for now I can operate the top manually if necessary. It may just be the o ring for the fitting since it was damaged. It took me some time to figure out the problem since the power top was functioning but every once in a while I would get a small spill in front of the rear wheel on the drivers side. Before I put it back in I had been thinking about just replacing both cylinders and avoiding alot of messing around.
Convertible Service sells a set for $139. They also have the filling and bleeding tool which looks like a must.
I read that the vehicle manual has a good description of how to reinstall cylinders and recharge the lines. Does anyone have that information?
Any advice or experience with this problem or advice on the best source for a quality lift cylinders?
