They're definitely not sensitive in my case since I have to clean the contacts every year to get them to work. I took a turn in a gas station the other day and the horns beeped provoking the suv in front of me to flip me off (New Yorkers way of saying hello). On a 67' wheel it's pretty hard to hit them accidentally. I'm surprised more people haven't had this problem, I thought it was somewhat common.
