Yes, I agree. It looks exactly like a Camaro mirror - I didn't mention that in my earlier post. That's why I asked the seller for the part # off the box. I made the mistake of buying what I thought was a 68 repro remote mirror a couple of years ago from a local dealer who advertised a 68 Camaro mirror as that for a 68 Firebird. He delivered part number 3921816. I think the 68 and 69 Camaro remote mirrors looked very similar but I could be wrong. If the seller does provide the number, I'll bet it's either 3921816 or 3957203 (a 68 or 69 Camaro mirror).

It's hard to see, but here's a pic of a remote mirror from an Ebay posting a while back where the guy said it was off a 68 Firebird. The base looks a bit different. And I had no way of validating if this was in fact a 68 Firebird remote mirror because 1) I've never seen one up close that I know is authentic and 2) the seller at the time never responded with the part number off the base. I believe that part number is 3934583.
