Jim/Karl... most sites today, are based on the premise that the user is using at least a 17" monitor with a screen resolution of 1024x768. (Monitor size and resolution are sometimes independent of one another.) I designed the site for the "masses" so-to-speak and I knew that there would be issues with users w/ older PCs.

That said, 17" today is *still* on the small side, if you can believe that. A 19" monitor will serve you well for many years to come.
