Wow. Thanks for all the great input. I forgot to mention earlier that this is the best site ever. Looks like I have the 3 tube headers, but mine are rust colored instead of chrome! I bought my bird about 9 years ago now. It was my first car at age 16, and what a pile it was. It has come a long way, but still has much to be done. I was told the car had a 350 when I bought it. This was replaced by a 400 when I was in college. Recently found out by PHS it was a 326HO car. I need to go look at that 350 I pulled out(which is at my dads house) and see what it really is. I knew nothing about Pontiacs at the time of purchase, except they looked cool. I am now a huge Pontiac supporter. Anyway, being a Michigan rust bucket, the rear springs came through the trunk on me after installing the 400. So far, I've added new floor pans, trunk pan, rear frame rails, inner/outer wheel wells, trunk panels, front suspension, steering, etc, etc. This is ongoing, but I swear it will be back on the road this year!! Oh yeah, it was originally verdoro green, but someone painted it red!! I will have to change that also. Sorry to keep rambling, but hey you wanted to know about the car. I could go on and on...............
