I'm happy to say all Meagan had was a slight bruise on her hip. She was a nervous wreck on the road for awhile as her cruel parents made her get back behind the wheel (in her mothers minivan) 2 days after the crash. She followed a truck for 30 miles at 40 mph because she wouldn't pass him about a month after. Fortunately time heals and now she drives around in her mini monster truck (88 GMC sb ss with 35" tires) like it never happened. The truck driver didn't care about the car or my daughter. I got there about 1 minute before the cops and when they took his statement his attitude had changed quite drastically. They were going to charge me with tampering with evidence. Suprising what can happen in such a short time. I provided the insurance company (govt owned and operated) with 70 ads I found for 67 Firebirds valued from $500 to $35,000 plus info on where to get new repro parts and where to get original parts. They valued the dent at $7600 and gave us a choice of a repair or a cash payout of $9800. We kept the car for parts and took the cash. (it kinked from rocker to rocker right between the front and back seats and from quarter panel to quarter panel between the back window and trunk and twisted it enough that the hood was out of align by about 2")
Now that I know how to get the pics out here I'll show the progress on the new one.
