I think I'll have to go the locksmith route, because this car was actually two cars put together from the best parts. It doesn't surprise me that the car oddly has separate keys for the door/trunk and the ignition. Thanks for the pointer on the locksmith, and for the fact that I cannot remove the ignition cylinder without the key being inserted. That would have driven me crazy.
