That's true about nearly everything being easily replaceable. If I was shopping for a concours car I wouldn't be looking at either one of these. But if I was looking for a show and cruise car that looked stock, the second one would definitely appeal to me. Other than the Cragars (not my preference) I'd pretty much just drive it and enjoy it.
To me, modified is pretty much a wildly custom brand new paint job that affects the price, a drivetrain transplant from another make, cut or custom dash and panels, tubs and roll cages, hood scoops and side flares and scoops, altered grilles and tail panels...things that visibly make the car much different than original.
