Resurrecting an old post just to be sure. Putting my tank/tube in as well.

Assuming the bottom of the rubber boot acts as a gasket, does it bolt from the trunk side with the square flange. It appears from the last post that there may be two flanges for the bottom?

The way I have it set now, from the trunk floor up, I have trunk floor, rubber boot bottom (lets call it the gasket), flange, then the boot goes up, the top rubber boot "gasket" pokes thru the filler door hole, and is compressed by the tube, which is inserted from the back.

The reason I am questioning it is when I test fit the metal protector cover, it sat on the flange with the flange poking out the bottom, just did not look right.
