Did you do it with an A/C car? The thread depicts a non-A/C car. The evaporator box takes up all the room you would need to get the heater blower out. I thought I tried everything before removing my fender apron. I pulled the bottom of my fender away from the car to get that out without removing the fender, which wasn't a grea idea. My left front fender doesn't quite fit the same.
