I've converted my 2-speed auto to a 200r4 as well as installed a Vintage Air AC system. I still have the stock rad that has the transmission lines running to it for cooling. Like many, I have experienced overheating problems and have been chasing that problem. I am pretty sure the overheating resulted in a transmission failure that I had this past summer. Therefore I want to add a separate trans cooler for some extra cooling. Wondering if anyone has any thought on the best mounting posistion considering I do not want to take a chance on making the engine overheating problem worse. I figure my choices are: (1) in front of the AC condensor (2) between the rad and the AC condensor, (3) or somewhere on the frame. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
