Did you take the old one off or was it missing when you got the car? If you took it off I'd like to buy it if you're selling.

I figured mine out. Someone converted it to one of the switches that is mounted to the firewall and is activated by the gas pedal itself. I had to adjust it by bending the bracket to get it to work the way I want it to. It's working well now.
