seen that before , 2 or 3 times, but not sure it was 69s, but possibly 67 ,68s didnt keep track of the years, so I think it can be done...but you`ll probably catch some grief from people...LOL...just remembering what the 'words' have been for cars like that sold on EBay...
but its your car...so...do what you think is best...if thats what it takes to get it running , I`d say , go for it!

but I`m sure you can also easily find the parts for it cheaply here from someone...just one fender and headlight surround...
