Does anyone sell the CORRECT anchor plates for a '68? It appears that the Big 5 all sell the same plate which is 2" too long. Yeah, I know, I could cut 'em down, but these joints also sell the same bracket for both sides. Yeah, I know, either bracket will work on either side. But the stock brackets are distinctly different - holes drilled in opposite sides.
The previous owner of my car added a leaf and then torqued them down to about seven hundred foot-pounds. They're as radiused as the U-bolts!
