the Pontiac transmissions/bell housings will bolt to the chevy but only with the four lower bolts the two uppers will not. I know its not right but I have seen a few of them driving around. Me I would not do it.
DruggNet you can always use an adapter, thats what I did till I got my Chevy trans, and as far as the wring goes you can undo the wire loom and move the starter and Alt. wires to fit, you might have to lengthen them, cant remember its been 25 years since i did mine. Also I see your around San Deigo. I'm in San Bernardino and can come down and help you if you need it.
