on my 68' 400 conv.,closed my hood fits fine. front corners match, and there is a even gap on all three sides. but as i raise the hood, at about a quarter of the way up,it moves back and contacts the cowing right in the center.i also have to push down on the top corners of the hood , to get them to sit flush with the fenders and from just eye-balling other pics my hood doesn't seem to come up as far as others. could someone measure the distance from the bumper to the point of their hood opened all the way? are there any numbers on the hinges that would tell me if they are correct? or does the gap at the top of the hood and cowing need to be a little large the the rest? tim
