Back to transmission 101 for me. I guess I must mean locking up the torque converter - once I am cruising at highway speed, I click a manual toggle switch and my RPMs drop by a few hundred. When I want to slow down or speed up to pass, I click the switch off, the RPMs jump a bit and I am good to go. Am I just locking up the converter?
