Hello all.. I have a little problem with my convertible rear window . The rear window are two pieces of glass that are held by some type of strong thick clear sealer/bead. I made the mistake of placing my cell phone on the rear window and lowering my top down. Well the bead/seam that holds the two windows together spilt in half and now I need to reseal it again. I was told that they use a special type of clear weather strip for this. It has to bend and take the pressure when the window is folded down. Does anyone have any connections with convertible window shops that can tell me what type of sealer to use for this repair. I don't think the reagular 3M clear sealer will work for this type of job. Any advise. Thank You
