While you are at this stage, I remember the top pinch welds of the inner and outer wheel wells have to be bent over to clear the folding top mechanism.
I remember my body man needing to bend them (with a sledge) after the fact when re-installing the top.
He then said "I was wondering why those were bent over on the original parts"....
