Looks almost the same... mine has 3 ports with "d" in the middle.... Is that a 4-port with a block that closes off the top one ? My top port is connected to the q-jet pipe from the driver side front....man. vac. is on the bottom... I run a 195 therm. and this idle increase comes on about 10 to 15 over that.... So far the temp. increases don't climb farther.... After I get some more air through the radiator with a speed up and the temp settles down to normal, the idle slows too... I know some of us have oversized big blocks in our cars... My 69 vert. was a 350HO when I sold it in '86...Bought it back from the "KID" in '88 with the "70" 455.... I have enjoyed driving it for all these years...even with the heating issues....With the design by GM of the small grill area to feed air for the rad., maybe going bigger than "400" was a mistake.... With this valve hooked up now all seams ok.... Thanks, Ken THE BEAR
