Do what you like. But Vikki is correct in that no 69s came from the factory with a pass side mirror. I've had a brand new one in the box for about 5 years now. Just can't bring myself to drill new holes in the car. One thing to look at is your stock mirror had an offset mounting to the outside. Your aftermarket pass side one should mirror(pun intended) it.
