Repop T-3 full sets go for $130. I bought mine 3 years ago from Ames. Then I did many of them at the Turkey Run (originals) for just a few bucks each, however, no way of knowing if they were any good etc. Plus as stated above the originals don't last very long.
Now if you buy bulbs off the shelf at AutoZone or the like, there are some that will not work with your original plastic boots that plug onto the backs of the bulbs due to the prongs on the back are not long enough. Some people end up trimming the plastic boots back, thus allowig the shorter brass prongs to reach the female sockets. Hope that makes sense. If you do not want to trim your boots, compare two mfgs. bulbs and buy the ones with the longer prongs.
