My 68 was originally a column shift that someone converted to a 4-speed Muncie with a Hurst Competition Plus shifter. The problem is that the linkages are installed upside-down, making the shift pattern backwards. If I change them to be right side up, the linkage collides with the side of the transmission tunnel. Am I missing something? I have heard of a 4-speed tunnel hump, but I have never seen it on this site, and only NPD seems to carry it. Is this what I need?
