Jim, I know quite a few people are going to trailer their car to Estes and just drive it around up there. The YMCA has plenty of parking for trailers if its something you decide you might want to do.
That is one of the options I'll be thinking about Jerry. My daughter and family are only 1 1/4 hr from Estes so I could even leave the truck and trailer there. There is nothing much prettier than running the Big Thompson with the top down (see the '73 picture below).
