I have the opportunity to buy a LT1 engine out of a 1994 firebird for around $800.00 with 75k miles. I was thinking about swapping out my 350 (with 4spd) that I have been having problems, with this LT1 giving it a little more modern technology. Of course I would go through the engine. What does this group think about doing this type of conversion and does anybody have any idea how difficult it would be (is it worth the hassle). Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.
