I've gathered info from here and there on this subject, but still confused. I would like a TA hood for my 69 project. Are the hoods out there (steel) usable for a novice body man doing everything himself with more time than money available? What types of mods need to be done to get them to work. My current project has all original sheet metal up front and came with a repro 400 hood. I would like to put the 400 hood on my 67 and get a Ta hood for the 69. Anybody gone through this already?
